Interest in Research Study? (Calgary)
Hi everyone,
My name is Conrad Rockel, and I am a researcher working with the Focused Ultrasound team at the University of Calgary and Foothills Medical Centre.
Our OCD project team (led by Dr.'s Yu Mimura, Zelma Kiss, & Beverly Adams) are asking those within the OCD community if they would be interested in participating in a research study investigating a novel non-surgical neuromodulation technique. This would be an exploratory study regarding the effect of focused ultrasound on cognition in those with OCD, ideally serving as a potential basis for treatment in the future.
At the moment, we are in the planning stages, and trying to gauge interest, as well as consider questions/concerns that those with OCD may have about our project. Your feedback or expression of interest is neither an obligation nor guarantee of participation.
