Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a mental health disorder that features a pattern of unwanted thoughts and fears (obsessions) that lead to repetitive behaviours (compulsions). When this condition becomes severe, it can affect relationships, responsibilities and significantly reduce quality of life. It can interfere with simple daily activities and become debilitating.

The Alberta OCD Foundation (aocdf) continues to crush the stigma on mental health, eliminate shame, increase public awareness and offer support to those affected by OCD.

As a foundation, we are excited to announce the #OCDweek 50/50 Cash Raffle Fundraiser! Tickets are sold for a limited time, get yours before Friday October 14 @1pm for a chance to win half of the jackpot!

Funds raised from this raffle will support Alberta based OCD education sessions and equipment, resources, registrations and affiliation fees, OCD workshops, awareness campaigns and advertisements.

The draw will be announced at our Soda Social event at the King Edward Park Small Hall on Friday October 14, 2022 at 7pm, during the international #OCDWEEK. Come for the draw, stay for the Soda Social! Socialize with provided Italian sodas and snacks from 7PM-8PM. All ages welcomed. For more information about the Soda Social, please read on below.

The winner of the raffle will be contacted to claim their prize. Thank you for your support!

People who live with OCD are talented, intelligent and artistic. The Alberta OCD Foundation is encouraging you to bring a piece of OCD inspired art such as a painting, picture, poem or a story to share with others. We ask that you come 10-20 minutes prior to the Social Social event to display your art. If you have any questions, please email Jennifer at ocdalberta@gmail.com.
